We had a great run, you and me. You were like my dog except I never could do the things I did with you with a dog. Or at least, that's what they tell me.
We laughed, we cried, we raged, we spent many quiet moments together. You heeded to my every keystroke, and I to you well lit lcd screen. Every time I turned you on, I became lost amidst the bits and bytes you showed to me.
And now you're gone. To be temporarily replaced by an excuse of hardware called a netbook. She could never replace you. No, you were more durable, much faster, more responsive, more screen space.
I never thought I'd say this, but I miss you dearly. And hope that once your hard drive comes in the mail, we'll be sure to carry on what we had. Sure, some things won't be the same, but I'll try to gather the pieces we had saved and look forward to make new ones.
